Located along the beautiful Connecticut River, Rocky Hill is a thriving community with a rich history dating back to being independently incorporated in 1843. Just eight miles south of the state capital of Hartford, CT, Rocky Hill is located along I-91 in the center of New England’s Knowledge corridor.   Bradley International Airport, the CT Convention Center, Trinity College, UConn Law School, St. Joseph’s College, University of Hartford, Rensselaer Graduate Center and Central Connecticut State University are all within 20 minutes of town.  Rocky Hill is centrally located between the two major cities of Boston and New York.

Family Focused with a Corporate Presence…

From corporate office parks to Dinosaur State Park and historic Ferry Park along the CT River, Rocky Hill continues to accommodate growth and community reinvestment without sacrificing our small town atmosphere. We strive to preserve our small town charm, while encouraging new development. We are committed to fiscal accountability, responsive government and the highest level of service to the community. The town's leaders, in partnership with our schools, public library and other municipal departments make Rocky Hill a great place to live, work and visit.  Businesses seeking a central New England location, a major national business focus and a highly educated workforce should contact the Economic Development Office.

“Cultivating long-term economic growth by fostering a clear & business-positive environment that encourages a growing, sustainable & diverse tax base.”
