Trash Curbside Collection

You should place your barrel(s) at the curb before 6:00 am on collection day. Place barrels at least two feet apart from each other with the lid opening facing the street. Also, make sure the barrels aren't left at the curb for longer than 24 hours.

Restrictions

There are certain items that are illegal to throw away in your regular trash. Never put the following items in your barrel:

  • Explosives
  • Biological waste
  • Hazardous chemical substances (see Household Hazardous Waste
  • Radioactive materials
  • Human or animal waste (Check with your doctor or veterinarian)
  • Animal remains. Contact your veterinarian or a private wildlife control service
  • Automotive parts
  • Liquid waste
  • Radioactive medical waste, including human and pet waste
  • Recyclable materials
  • Leaves & Grass Clippings

Trash Collection Schedule

 Collection is delayed by one day the rest of the week for the following holidays observed: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day.

LOCATION: 59 Old Forge Road

HOURS: Thursday & Friday, 10:00am – 2:00pm (March 1st – December 31st)

Saturday - 7:00am – 1:00pm (all year)

*Transfer Station is closed during inclement weather*
