My Niche Academy
My Niche Academy is a great place to learn about all the different online services that the Cora J. Belden Library offers, made possible through the use of easy to follow video tutorials. Each online service or database has its own course that talks about what the resource is, what it offers, and how to access it and use it. In addition, there are several tutorials regarding popular topics such as Microsoft Office, social media, Gmail, and more.
LearningExpress Computer Skills Center
Video courses are the fastest and easiest way to learn how to use a computer. Use the materials in this center to learn the basics of computers, from searching the Internet to using popular programs for word processing, creating spreadsheets and databases, implementing design, and more. Skill level goes beyond basic to advanced.
Brainfuse HelpNow offers a comprehensive suite of online academic services designed to support many learning needs and styles. It provides expert online services such as live, real-time professional tutoring, a foreign language lab, and a online writing lab that offers live writing assistance. In addition, it provides study tools such as a Test Center to help with standardized tests (SAT, ACT, GED and more) and practice subject specific tests, like math and science, as well as 24/7 access to an extensive library of online flashcard sets in hundreds of subjects. The Great Courses
The Great Courses Library Collection is a lecture series taught by world-renowned college professors. Developed and vetted by award-winning experts, the Great Courses cover subjects like history, economics, health, art, and science. Each course includes a series of half-hour lectures and a comprehensive guidebook. Universal Class for libraries is an online educational service providing a diverse offering of learning courses for people interested in the lifelong pursuit of knowledge. There are over 500 courses that you can take at any time without waiting for sessions to start or end. Once in a course, you will watch engaging videos and receive feedback from friendly instructors. When you complete a course, Universal Class offers Continuing Education Unit (CEU) certificates to document your achievement.
