The Human Services Department oversees the storage of items from evictions for the Town of Rocky Hill. The Marshall notifies the Human Service’s office of the scheduled eviction and if items are left during the eviction the Town provides storage of the evictee's possessions. The evictee is informed by the Marshal where their items will be stored and how to contact us; once the client contacts Human Services we can provide the evictee with the cost of storage and the time frame they have to recover their possessions. If the evictee does not reclaim their property within time perimeters, an auction can be conducted to recoup storage costs.
