To ensure safety of our residents and the effectiveness of snow removal operations, the parking of vehicles on any street is prohibited during any storm (ice, snow, sleet or hail) which has been in progress one hour.
The Community Development Service Department will host an informational public meeting to discuss culvert replacement and roadway improvements for Dividend Road, Rocky Hill Industrial Park.

The Town of Rocky Hill is encouraging all residents to increase the amount of recycling placed in your blue cart and reduce the amount municipal solid waste that is placed in your green trash cart. To that end, the Town will not be providing large trash carts to residents. Additionally, residents will only receive one trash cart per household. By eliminating food waste scraps, clothing, yard debris, and other miscellaneous items that can be disposed of at the Town Transfer Station, and not placed in your green trash cart, we can help the environment and dramatically reduce costs for disposal.
Moving forward, if your current trash cart needs to be replaced due to cracks, holes, broken wheels, or irreplaceable lids, the Sanitation Crew will remove the damaged cart and replace it with one medium 64-gallon cart - equivalent to 2 old fashioned metal cans. Any excess waste can be brought in plastic garbage bags to the Transfer Station during their regular hours of operation.
